When indie roots rockers Uncle Tupelo broke up a couple of years ago, it seemed appropriate to take sides in the matter. Tupelo's frontman Jay Farrar created Son Volt, while co-contributor Jeff Tweedy founded Wilco. Now, after two records apiece, the results are in: Wilco is the better band.
